In the last 15 years, quantum field theory and general relativity have been remarkably confirmed, earning recognition through several Nobel Prizes. Yet singular spacetimes challenge general rela-tivity: as spacetime curvature blows up, quantum effects can no longer be ignored, motivating the search for a consistent theory of quantum gravity.

My research lies precisely at the interface between gravity and quantum theory and aims to sys-tematically address quantisation ambiguities through renormalisation. In this talk, I will present the Hamiltonian renormalisation programme, a non-perturbative and background-independent frame-work that combines ideas from constructive quantum field theory, multi-resolution analysis, and wavelet theory.

The main focus of the presentation will be the application of this framework to the U(1)^3 model of (3+1)-dimensional Euclidean quantum gravity, which can be viewed as the weak-Newton-coupling limit of loop quantum gravity. I will introduce the central ideas behind the renormalisation pro-gramme, describe the construction of the renormalisation flow, and present the main results ob-tained during my doctoral research, discussing their implications for the resolution of quantisation ambiguities in loop quantum gravity.
